The problem
Multiple kitchen and wardrobe doors sagging, catching or failing to close, with visible inconsistent gaps across the runs.
Diagnosis
Concealed hinges worn and fixings pulled loose in chipboard carcasses. The carcasses themselves were sound, so replacement was unnecessary.
Work completed
Hinges replaced with correct-type units, fixing points reinforced, carcasses re-squared, and every door on the run realigned to consistent gaps. Handles refitted and finish touched in where hardware had marked the timber.
Materials & solution
Replacement concealed hinges, reinforcement fixings, colour-matched finish.
Result
Existing kitchen retained rather than replaced, with all doors closing cleanly and gaps consistent across the run.
