Servicing, cleaning and maintenance — what actually differs
These three terms are used interchangeably in Dubai, and they should not be. A filter clean is fifteen minutes and keeps airflow acceptable. A full service is a measured inspection plus deep coil cleaning. A maintenance contract is a schedule of services with priority response attached.

How often, honestly
Every three to four months for a full service on an occupied Dubai property, with monthly filter attention through the hottest months. Properties near the coast, near active construction, or with pets need the shorter interval.
Holiday homes and rarely-used units are different — servicing before the season starts matters more than frequency.

Does servicing include gas?
No. Pressures are checked as part of the service; refrigerant is only added if a leak has been found and repaired, and that is quoted separately.
Can servicing reduce my DEWA bill?
Usually yes. Clean coils and filters let the unit reach the set temperature faster, so it runs less. The effect is largest on systems not cleaned for a year or more.
